Job Description

Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with company/customer system architecture standards.

  1. The Application Administrator will operate, monitor, sustain, and secure general purpose and critical computing assets for the DoDIN-A through System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), System Center Orchestrator (SCORCH), and supporting modules.
  2. Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure SCCM servers and agents.
  3. Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure SCOM agents on Domain Controller Servers.
  4. Maintain the Enterprise SCCM application and SQL databases.
  5. Troubleshoot and maintain connectivity between the Roll-Up servers and the CONUS Network Enterprise Centers (NEC) servers and the Enterprise Packaging Repository/Data Warehouse Reporting server.
  6. Provide SCCM application support to the SCCM administrators at CONUS installation NECs.
  7. Deploy standardized software updates and Army Golden Master (AGM) packages throughout the enterprise.
  8. Employ SYSMAN to determine need for and deploy patches for operating system and application software to USARCC-C managed systems.
  9. Develop and deliver pre-formatted and ad hoc reports
  10. Coordinate with the Signal Command, Signal Brigades and NECs to assist sites in pushing Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) updates using SCCM.
  11. Monitor and ensure connectivity between SCCM servers. Report connection outages.
  12. Rebuild SCCM and assume responsibility for monitoring, operating, securing, and sustaining the site SCCM servers once re-built.

Job Requirements

0-2 years of directly related computer systems analysis and/or programming experience.

Certifications: IAT II (e.g. CCNA Security, Security+ CE); Computing Environment certification
