Job Description

  • Leadership position on a 250+ FTE program within the IC
  • Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work, financial and business development activities.
  • Supervises assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate managers and directors, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.
  • Directs program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.
  • Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.
  • Performs business development activities, including the preparation and review of technical and cost proposals.
  • Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • 15 – 18 years of Project Management, Information Technology, and Enterprise IT experience
  • Experienced and effective leader of projects and teams, with emphasis on Enterprise IT Services and Solutions
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully managing and executing multiple projects simultaneously and managing to cost and schedule.
  • Ability to identify inefficient project practices and develop best practice solutions.
  • Hands-on experience developing and managing SLAs and SOPs across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to provide technical supervision and leadership to project managers.
  • Ability to work across multi-disciplined teams.
  • Outstanding organizational, written and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong initiative and drive, must possess the ability to inspire and mentor others and overcome constraints.
  • Must be highly competent in critical analysis, reasoning and problem-solving skills as well as delegation, oversight and deadline management.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Job Requirements

15-20 years of related BD, Capture, and program management experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working closely with BD/Capture to grow Business Area in Mission Side of Customer
  • Responsible for new program start up and execution

Required Qualifications:

  • Leadership position on a 250+ FTE program
  • 5 Years IC and NRO experience in a leadership position on a program
  • 5 of last 8 years at the NRO
  • Specific experience in working successful GED/NASP captures
