Job Description

**Position requires an in-scope TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.**

Performs a variety of general administrative tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of an office, group or customer.

Work hours: During the running of the New Hire Orientation Program, the typical arrival time will be 0630-0700. When New Hire Orientation is not in session, the core hours and arrival/departure times are flexible with task management approval. Contractor will split time between Reston and Chantilly complex depending on training course location.
• Oversee approximately 6 New Hire Orientations. Required to compile and provide orientation packets to attendees.
o Packets are standardized, occasionally forms will be added. Contractor expected to identify these packets and ensure all required documents is included.
• Contractor to travel to McLean location with arrival time 0600 and is expected to work a 10 hr. shift
• Will assist with approximately 5 student intern courses on annual basis
• During training and orientation courses, contractor will meet with all attendees at the start of each day to gather signatures for attendance and request any other required information
• Create/update spreadsheets/course lists.
• Create name tags, seating charts, and other related documents.
• Expected to reach out to specific offices to acquire any documentation to be placed in orientation packets for individual attendees
• Provide Training Assistant Officer coverage/back-up coverage for student intern course
• Utilizing Sponsor online resource, will submit each new employee for course credit for orientation and for any required
• Contractor will be available on a daily basis throughout the training course to answer questions, provide guidance and to collect attendance information.
• Ensure all attendees receive credit of course and make note of absent attendees
• Interact with instructors/presenters and Program Manager(s) for each course.
• Responsible for reviewing list of presenters for each training course and ensuring/confirming each presenters availability for assigned days
• Expected to notify management and locate a replacement presenter
 

1. Performs a variety of general administrative tasks, such as preparing reports and correspondence, answering phones, filing, and sorting and distributing mail, in support of the day-to-day operations of an office, group or customer.

2. Compiles various contract, program, and financial data using various database programs, and prepares monthly status reports based on the results.

3. Collects and inputs timesheet information into automated accounting system and processes labor corrections.

4. Processes purchasing requisitions, invoices for consultants and subcontractors, and travel and expense reports.

5. Serves as point of contact for the office or group on issues related to accounting, human resources, purchasing, and other departments, as well as outside contacts such as customers, vendors, and subcontractors.

6. Participates in special projects as required.

Job Requirements

1-3 years of related administrative experience.
