Job Description

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking candidates for a Business Administrator position to support its Case Coordination Program for the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR)

GDIT supports the ORR Division of Unaccompanied Children’s Operations.  Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) are apprehended by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) immigration officials are transferred to the care and custody of ORR. ORR promptly places an unaccompanied child in the least restrictive setting that is in the best interests of the child, taking into consideration danger to self, danger to the community, and risk of flight. ORR takes into consideration the unique nature of each child’s situation and incorporates child welfare principles when making placement, clinical, case management, and release decisions that are in the best interest of the child.  Case Coordination program operates in a fast paced environment with frequent change based on customer need and direction. 

Performs non-routine administrative and analytical tasks in one or more business support functions for program, including facilities planning, finance, logistics, property management, purchasing and/or security.

Coordinates development of required programmatic report to be delivered quarterly comprising program accomplishments and achieving program SLAs & other customer requirements.

May perform tasks relative to the control of company and/or government property assigned to the organization.

May perform facilities planning activities, including coordinating the storage and movement of furniture, systems, and equipment.

May maintain financial databases, analyze data, and develop reports.

Participates in special projects as required.

Job Requirements

2-5 years of related administrative and analytical experience.
