Job Description

Performs program analysis and financial reporting in order to monitor finances associated with business operations of an ever-growing, complex contract with an attention to detail.

  • Responsible for various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis. 

  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure business operations in regards to invoicing and Cloud computing.

  • Creates, maintains, and updates financial databases and spreadsheets, and generates various financial reports as required.

  • Manages and tracks staffing levels compared to what was proposed and submit timecard corrections, when needed.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the use of pivot tables, sumifs, and vlookups to assist with the various financial reports.

  • Supports assigned managers in managing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting financial data as requested, as well as reviewing contract modifications for accuracy.

  • Participates in the preparation of cost proposals from beginning to end and ensures all estimates are accurate and in-line with contractual requirements.

  • Conducts audits and analysis of their organization's direct and indirect costs, and reviews their practices and procedures, ensuring that labor and non-labor charges are approved, allowable, and processed in a timely manner.

  • May have risk identification and recovery responsibilities.

  • Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as DAR, FAR, SOX and other government regulations.

  • Tracks subcontractor invoices against the Purchase Orders and ensures they are correct, processed, and approved in a timely manner, as well as the invoices to the customer.

  • Participates in special projects as required.

Job Requirements

2-5 years of related finance or business analysis experience.
