Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Cloud Platform Innovation Lead for the PEO EIS contract in Fort Belvoir, VA. Candidate will be supporting the Program Management Support Services to the U.S. Army Program Executive Office [PEO] Enterprise Information Systems [EIS], G6 Office.

Handles complex long-term focused cloud migration projects involving multiple disciplines and applications.  Provides leadership and direction to high priority special projects undertaken by the organization.  Recommends to client and IT management appropriate technological alternatives.  Evaluates new technological developments as related to cloud service providers and evolving application requirements. Provides high-level specialized technical support and consultation to the organization.

Performs cloud technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total cloud product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and migration. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of cloud products and services into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional  analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into cloud services.


  • Secret Clearance
  • BS or equivalent + 14 yrs related experience, or MS + 12 yrs related experience
  • AWS Certified preferred
  • CISSP preferred
  • CCSP Certified Preferred
  • Agile certifications Preferred
  • DOD 8570 IAT/IAM Level 3

Required Skillsets:

  • Familiarity with secure cloud computing environment / cloud architecture / cloud migration / automation platform services, software services, in cloud service providers
