Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Mid-Level SecDevOps Engineer to engineer, implement and maintain a SecDevOps environment in AWS GovCloud for the Department of Navy. This successful candidate will have an in depth background in software development and industry best practices related to SecDevOps working in an Agile environment. This individual should have a solid understanding in cloud technologies and security practices.
 

Job Duties:
1. Develop Architecture for the SecDevOps environment in the cloud
2. Assist in the selection of toolsets to support the environment
3. Create Engineering documentation and procedures to implement tools into the environment
4. Participate in all Agile ceremonious to create user stories and to assist in developing Sprints and Releases
5. Implement the tools sets and architecture into the cloud environment following DoD change management procedures
6. Ensure that the SecDevOps environment is in compliance with all DoD security requirements
7. Be available for both scheduled and unscheduled offhours activities
8. Mentor junior staff
9. Perform other duties as needed

Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in a Computer Science Field
2. 5+Years of increasingly progressive experience (flexible)
3. Indepth Understanding of SecDevOps principles
4. Good knowledge of industry standard tools for the implementation of SecDevOps
5. 2+ years programming experience in Java, C#, C++, .NET or equivalent (flexible)
6. Solid Understanding of Amazon Web Services especially GovCloud
7. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
8. Ability to meet DoD CSWF requirements
9. US Citizenship
