Job Description

Provides configuration management support to assigned projects.

The candidate will work with a team of systems engineers and software developers to specify, design, develop, test and deploy the end-state system. The candidate will operate as a Configuration Manager embedded within the development team.  The Configuration Manager wil be expected to track, package, and execute new releases of the system into the various environments i.e. Development, Test, Production.  Activities will include:
•Review and updating User Stories via JIRA
•Creating new and merging existing branches in the project GIT repository.
•Coordinating with the Development and Test team with release management
•Communicating release schedules and release notes to various stakeholders

Mandatory Skills:
1. Demonstrated experience working with GIT.  In depth knowledge of branching concepts and various workflows is required including merging, reverting, and creating new branches.
2. Demonstrated experience working with and managing Artificatory
3. Demonstrated experience utilizing JIRA for managing sprints and user stories
4. Demonstrated experience with basic Linux server administration

Desired Skills:
1. Experience developing in an Agile environment, including Scrum and user stories.
2. Demonstrated experience developing, testing, deploying, and operating enterprise scale, web based applications in the IC/DoD environments.                                                                                      

3. Demonstrated experience with operating in the Amazon Web Services cloud environments.
