Job Description

Created after 9-11-2001, the Department of Homeland Security consolidated numerous agencies' data centers for central management. GDIT plays a key role in the Department's IT integration strategy through its Data Center-1 program.  GDIT's DC-1 program is committed to delivering an efficient, responsive, and mature data center operation through excellence in service delivery, performance, and continual service improvement.

We are seeking a Business Process Analyst to partner with leadership to provide strategic support to help the program improve performance by analyzing situations, identifying gaps, and proposing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Influence stakeholder decisions by 'selling' strategic performance concepts.

• Conduct front-end analyses and needs assessments; implement surveys.

• Use a variety of performance strategies, tools, and interventions (i.e., organizational development, needs or trend analysis, needs assessment, training evaluation, etc.) to implement change, monitor solution implementation, and assure organizational success.

• Analyze organizational or project/program performance indicators to identify key areas for improvement.

• Design and implement data collection methodologies to assess organizational needs (e.g., organizational occupational structure, training needs, organizational climate, effectiveness) employing professionally accepted practices and standards.

• Develop performance measures to monitor progress toward organizational or program/project goals and objectives.

  • Develop and coordinate tiger teams to drive solutions or results (CMDB, portal, SNOW).  Work cohesively as part of a team. 
  • Assist with the DC2 and DC1 migration to manage and coordinate any tiger team need. 
  • Facilitate and host any necessary calls to maintain open communication to guarantee progression to management. 
  • Facilitate training and ISO Audit’s as needed. 
  • Facilitate new tool integration and coordinate with the Enterprise Trainer to develop training materials. Assist in coordinating and roll-out of any new versions or •tools to ensure all areas have been considered. 

•       Use best practices to improve Customer Experience throughout the organization while finding cost savings. 

•       Support the organization or program in creating and sustaining a strong customer focus and high expectations for performance.

•       DHOC projects at Sr. Management discretion.

Requirements

•       BA/BS degree and 8 years of Business Process Analysis exp.

•       Lean Six Sigma White Belt

•       Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of tools (i.e., Excel, Word, Project)
