Job Description

Manages and develops existing and new databases as well as technical support and subject matter expertise related to specified health care programming & analytic activities, projects and deliverables including the management of Risk Management Framework (RMF) for all procured medical devices.

Assists with the management and development of the existing and new databases.

Develops data models and information flows, modeling and constructing operation data stores, dimensional data modeling and data warehousing, and meta-data management. 

Administers and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database.

Provides database object construction and modeling to include functions procedures, tables, and views.

Manipulates current cold fusion database, converting cold fusion database into .net, uploading reports, forms and other source data.

Migrates information from multiple databases into one coherent report of information.

Supports the cyber security cell with the management of Risk Management Framework (RMF) for all medical devices procured by the agency.

Conducts multiple Technology Assessment & Requirements Analysis trips annually, supporting all modalities, OTSG consultants and the ICS team with medical informatics.

Stay current on vendors' best security practices in relation to organizational requirements.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

Participates in special projects as required.

Job Requirements

2-5 years of related experience in database analysis and/or administration experience.

Required Security Environment Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent.

Desired Computing Environment certification: MS SQL Administrator certification or an Oracle database certification.

U.S. or Naturalized Citizenship required.

Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Local Checks (NACLC)
