Job Description

Coordinates and monitors the Application Lifecycle process from initiation through delivery. Will be responsible for the lifecycle of various applications. This encompasses initial deployment, through releases, platform upgrades, component refresh cycles etc. Also responsible for the end to end service availability and meeting business requirements for performance while ensuring compliance and production cost control and lead technical projects to develop break through capabilities to transform our business processes.

  • Coordinates and monitors the application lifecycle process from initiation through delivery.
  • Serves as liaison between the product owner, development team, and management in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
  • Maintains product backlog, release plans, and facilitates team productivity.
  • Develops common strategies for release governance across multiple projects.
  • Establishes consistent release management processes.
  • Measures release cadence and effectiveness using common metrics across the entire software portfolio.
  • Creates common standards and formats for release playbooks.
  • Defines common mechanisms for rollback and standards for capturing release-related performance indicators.
  • Forecasts demand for release resources and identify opportunities for greater efficiency across the enterprise.
  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management.
  • Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate supervisors.
  • Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
  • May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.
  • Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
  • Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
  • Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
  • Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
  • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Job Requirements

  • 8-10 years of related experience, including supervisory experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques used in the various environments.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills.
