Currently, we are seeking a Enterprise Infrastructure Service Delivery Program Manager in Washington, DC supporting a customer contract. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust Suitability solutions to SEC

This position manages the Enterprise Operations support to the SEC OIT management personnel, which encompass tasks, which are responsible for the day-to-day middle management and accountability of the infrastructure, to include, Network Engineering, Network Operations Center, Servers and Storage, and Disaster Recovery.  Reports directly to the Senior Program Manager.  Responsible for ensuring SLAs are achieved, analyzed and reported.  Responsible for determining and acquiring resources to perform the related scope of work within the respective area. 

The Contractor shall provide services and personnel who meet the minimum requirements as defined in each Task.

Provide team with industry specific tasks, their constraints within the contract and possibilities within the team and company.  Involve with operations at the strategic level to understand how operations are conducted and therefore establish metrics and measures that are meaningful to management and the client.  Engagement in planning, monitoring, and implementing client projects/updates. 

So what is required of the Enterprise Infrastructure Service Delivery Program Manager in Washington, DC on a day-to-day basis? There are quite a myriad of tasks and responsibilities, such as:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day middle management and accountability of the infrastructure, to include, Network Engineering, Network Operations Center, Servers and Storage, and Disaster Recovery. 
  • Reports directly to the Senior Program Manager. 
  • Responsible for ensuring SLAs are achieved, analyzed and reported. 
  • Responsible for determining and acquiring resources to perform the related scope of work within the respective area. 
  • Ability to directly interface with SEC management counterparts to provide status updates, address issues and provide support for escalation if needed.
  • Assist with defining program governance requirements and subsequently review performance objectives to determine if they have been designed and established to comply with established standards.
  • Provide reports and metrics to GDIT and SEC management for compliance and performance
  • Manage and respond to SEC data calls and other IT service request.
  • Ability to analyze and assess problem situations to support the planning, design and implementation of suitable solutions. 
  • Serve as a liaison between multiple internal and customer divisions.
  • Formulate standard operational procedures for inter-divisional communications, recommending improvements as necessary.
  • Conduct technical policy and contract reviews as requested and advise the Senior Management accordingly.
  • Provide recommendations to Senior Management.
  • Collaborate with the SEC Program Management and the Performance Management staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications: 

  • Public Trust Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain the SEC suitability status.
  • At least 8 years of related management experience with an emphasis on Data Centers, Servers, Storage and Network programs and/or projects, including mission critical programs, IT systems implementation and solution development. 
  • At least 5 years of proven experience managing a program with at least 100 personnel delivering Enterprise Infrastructure Support Services to at least 6000 end users across multiple locations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
  • In depth knowledge of Program governances and contract deliverable maintenance.
  • In depth knowledge of Human Capital management.
  • Knowledge of change control and change management process, project management, and Business Management Policy.
  • Experience conducting analysis and providing recommendations on new or existing business process capabilities.
  • Experience with the Federal government
  • Good communication and presentation skills at all organization levels.

It would be great if you also had:

  • ITILv3 certification
  • PMI’s PMP certification preferred
