GDIT is seeking a National Manager for a planned opportunity with the FAA.  Positions will oversee Western, Central, Eastern Region and Headquarters Task Order Managers and task orders for implementation of complex systems and subsystems into the National Airspace Systems (NAS).  Provide timely, relevant and accurate task order information to the Program Management Organization, and ensure regional concerns are addressed and resolved. Coordinates and supports Task Order Managers to ensure that work is tracked, communicated and performed properly and to customer satisfaction.  Provides regular updates to the FAA Program Manager on task order status, and coordinates various task order, customer and regional meetings.  In addition to overseeing the regional task orders, the manager will plan, organize and execute special projects as directed by the Program Manager.  Provides an important interface to FAA, regional personnel, other contractor team personnel.

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or Science.   Possess familiarity with FAA, FAA sites or FAA field operations.

BS+10 yrs, includes 5 years on FAA programs. Ten or more years of increasing management responsibility in programs involving planning, integration, implementation and transition of large complex systems and equipment.  At least five years of specific experience in either the providing of support services to the FAA or management of FAA programs. Demonstrated ability to manage geographically dispersed work force. Experience interfacing with different levels of customers management organization, regional stakeholders including FAA airway facilities and air traffic personnel.

Desired Qualifications, not required:
Masters Degree,  Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
