General Dynamics Health Solutions/ ARMA has an opening supporting the DOD Human Performance and Behavioral Health Services. 

GD Health Solutions/ARMA have an exciting opportunity for individuals who are interested in supporting warriors with increased combat effectiveness, resiliency to show a measurable reduction in down time and create optimal performance on the targets. Additionally, this position will help to support and build stable families and support systems.

The contractor shall train personnel in the art of negotiation, mediation, conflict resolution, cross-cultural communication, and adaptive thinking and leadership to maximize performance in accomplishing mission objectives in potentially time-constrained, high-stakes, ambiguous and hostile operating environments.

The contractor shall also perform the following responsibilities:

Develop and provide instruction in adaptive thinking education and training to enhance personnel ability to think and solve problems in unconventional ways

Maintain composure while responding to or adjusting one's own thinking and actions to fit a changing environment

Recognize, understand, and navigate within multiple social networks

Pro-actively shapes the environment or circumstances in anticipation of desired outcomes

Use operational vignettes and scenario based practical exercises that are open ended and ambiguous with a range of potential solutions

Challenging service members to explore options and develop creative and novel approaches

Develop and provide education and training in negotiation and mediation techniques to include aspects of negotiations in a joint, inter-agency, intergovernmental, and multinational environment

Provide training to individuals and groups utilizing general adult learning techniques focused on acquiring and applying adaptability and leadership skills/techniques

Teach and or develop instruction materials in leadership education and doctrine

Implement changes based on operational needs, new or emerging doctrine or practices

Assist with the development or provides overview briefings to VIPs and high-ranking leaders when required

Instructs planning, development, and implementation of Adaptive Thinking and Leadership subject matter to include: complex development and presentation dilemmas based on psychological, engagement, and negotiations theory and application, as well as future instruction initiatives

Job Requirements

SECRET Clearance

The contractor shall possess a Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in any field from a regionally accredited university

Have a minimum of 10 years of active duty experience to include company level leadership positions or higher

Have a minimum of 1 year practical experience in negotiation engagements or cross-cultural communications

The contractor shall be capable of meeting physical demands of training including the ability to hike over rough terrain and function in austere environments to observe training evolutions and the ability to assist with strength and conditioning testing and training protocols, and lift and manipulate loads or weights up to 25 kilograms
