Job Description

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an opening for a Information Security Integration Manager with strong communication and technical skills that will serve as the representative for the Department of Commerce to integrate each Bureau/Agency incident management system with the enterprise incident management system and the suite of Continuous Data Monitoring (CDM) security tools and to establish data feeds from other agencies (primarily DHS).

The candidate must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain Department of Commerce vetting clearance.

Specific roles & responsibilities for the position include but not limited to the following:

  • Register all threat and intrusion detection components from all Bureau environments into the integrated detection platform and ingest alerts for processing and correlation.
  • Establish log forwarding feeds from all Bureau environments to collect and ingest security event logs into the enterprise SIEM for event correlation and traffic analysis.
  • Serve as the representative for the Department of Commerce to integrate each Bureau/Agency incident management system with the enterprise incident management system and the suite of Continuous Data Monitoring (CDM) security tools and to establish data feeds from other agencies (primarily DHS).

  • Establish and maintain an enterprise web application security scanning and vulnerability assessment infrastructure that will collect and store web application vulnerability data from all Bureau environments    
  • Integrate each Bureau incident management system with the enterprise incident management system to improve efficiency and accuracy of the incident reporting process.  
  • Develop bi-directional integration with the suite of Continuous Data Monitoring (CDM) security tools to ingest security information data and to initiate queries into the CDM environment for additional security analysis.

Additional Experience in the following:

  • Expert knowledge of data security administration principles, methods, and techniques.
  • One or more of the following certifications: CISSP, CCSP, SSCP, CCFP
  • Requires familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.
  • Requires understanding of firewall theory and configuration.
  • Requires understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework, DHS/DoD policies and procedures, including FIPS 199, FIPS 200, NIST 800-53, DHS 4300A SSH and other applicable policies.
