Work will be performed within the Life Cycle Product-line Management (LCPM) contract. This effort shall utilize the Live Training Transformation (LT2) Product Line (P/L) which consists of the Software P/L and the Hardware Product Line (HPL) SOW to perform a Continuous Technology Refresh (CTR) for the I-MTS program.

The intent of I-MTS is to provide urban training solutions, which fulfill specified aspects of individual, collective, and combined arms training requirements. Cameras, microphones, speakers, targets, battlefield effects and network recording systems are combined in an urban operation setting to provide unit commanders with:

a. Real-time audio and video monitoring

b. Scenario generation

c. Exercise recording, reviewing and editing

d. After-Action Review (AAR) capability for the playback of training events

e. Multi-media Take Home Package (THP) to allow the training to be individually

viewed later

This position offers the opportunity to work remotely and requires the successful candidate to be able to travel as required by program and customer need.

  1. Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned task(s), including contractor and subcontractor management.
  2. Supervises assigned staff.
  3. Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
  4. May also perform high level technical services on assigned task(s).
  5. Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
  6. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. Participates in special projects as required.
  7. Installs, maintains, repairs, troubleshoots, modifies, constructs and tests various types of electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical equipment and related devices.
  8. Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles in order to put equipment in operational condition and solve complex problems.
  9. Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment.
  10. Makes recommendations for improvements or modifications to correct problems.
  11. Prepares operating and malfunction reports and related documentation
  12. Works with engineering staff to determine and solve equipment design problems.

Job Requirements

5-8 years of related experience, including supervisory experience within Army Range Programs including Integrated Military Operations Urban Training Systems (IMTS) ie: Combined Arms Collective Training Facilities and Live Fire Shoot House training instrumentation installation and testing.
