General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking highly motivated technical professionals who are eager to play a major role in IT transformation at Government agencies in the aviation and other transportation fields.
Ability to work anywhere in the USA, this is a telework position. Onsite support will be required as requested by customer.
The IT Change Manager reports to the Service Center Manager and will be responsible for leading, managing and coordinating all IT changes across the IT enterprise. Specifically the IT Change Manager will ensure close coordination with Federal Customer stakeholders, service providers, vendors, and the program team in performing change management activities.
The IT Change Manager will support and provide strategic and tactical change management, integration management, transition management, risk and communications management for end-to-end services/products as well as updates to approved configuration baselines.
Other responsibilities include:
1) 8 - 10 years of Information Technology (IT), systems engineering or related technical discipline experience
2) CCNP Certification required
3) Demonstrated experience as a Senior IT Change Manager, leading, coordinating and directing change management in a Federal Agency IT environment
4) Successful coordination, leading and management of critical end-to-end enterprise system changes
5) Successful coordination and management of the incorporation of new services and products into an established enterprise baseline
6) Demonstrated hands-on experience developing and managing change management plans/procedures and engagements across multiple stakeholders/vendors
7) Experience leading, facilitating and coordinating activities/engagements of Change Control Boards (CCB), Change Advisory Boards (CAB) and other change management governance boards
8) Hands-on experience and knowledge of process development and management
9) Experience identifying inefficient change management practices and developing best practice solutions.
10) Experience providing technical supervision and leadership to system engineers, project engineers/managers, configuration analysts/managers, service providers and vendors
11) Hands-on with ITILv3, HDI and ITOM best practices
