Job Description

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking highly motivated technical professionals who are eager to play a major role in IT transformation at Government agencies in the aviation and other transportation fields.  

This is a remote - telework position. Onsite support will be required as requested by customer.

The Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Suite Administrator will provide administration support of an ITSM suite and will be required to provide services across the following ITSM modules: service desk; asset management; change management; knowledge management and service level management.

The Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Suite Administrator will lead and provide:

ITSM Suite Administration, including:

  • Managing license issuance and tracking
  • Managing support and development licenses
  • Managing application configuration

ITSM Suite Development, including:

  • Enhancing ITSM existing workflows
  • Upgrading and maintaining ITSM applications
  • Preparing system documentation on revised applications along with knowledge sharing.

Daily Responsibilities, including:

  • Creating and administering accounts for ITSM applications
  • Providing high level support to end users
  • Maintaining ITSM reports per user specifications; publishing reports
  • Maintaining performance measurement reports

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis
  • 5 years of experience leading complex projects
  • HDI certification or equivalent required
  • Proven hands-on experience implementing, configuring, administering and optimizing ITSM Platforms
  • Experience developing and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Operational Level Agreements (OLAs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
