Job Description

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking highly motivated technical professionals who are eager to play a major role in IT transformation at Government agencies in the aviation and other transportation fields.  

This is a telework position. Onsite support will be required as requested by customer.

The IT Service Management Tool Developer will provide development and implementation support of an Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) suite.

The IT Service Management Tool Developer will be required to provide services across the following ITSM modules: service desk; asset management; change management; knowledge management and service level management.

Responsible for ITSM Suite Development, the ITSM Tool Developer will perform as follows:

  • Develops and enhances ITSM existing workflows
  • Upgrades and maintains ITSM applications on SQL
  • Prepares system documentation on revised applications along with knowledge sharing
  • Diagnoses and repairs problems within the ITSM system affecting customers
  • Creates and administers accounts for ITSM applications
  • Provides high level support to end users
  • Supports ITSM administration
  • Manages license issuance and tracking
  • Performs and supports application configuration
  • Provides reporting (creates and maintains ITSM reports per user specifications; publishes reports; maintains performance measurement reports)
  • Participates in special projects as required

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 8 – 10 years of related systems engineering, design and development experience
  • 5 years of ITSM tool development experience
  • Required Certification: CompTIA A+, HDI, CCNP
  • Proven hands-on experience implementing, configuring, administering and optimizing ITSM Platforms
