Job Description

The Knowledge manager ensures information and knowledge assets are properly created and applied enterprise-wide to improve decision-making.  Knowledge Management includes all actions to ensure creation, collection, validation, storage, distribution, assimilation, and application of knowledge within the organization.

  • Provide input to Knowledge Management Plan based on business process analysis and innovations in enterprise information technology knowledge management solutions.
  • Execute knowledge management functions to include creation of knowledge portal sites, knowledge audits, process analysis, and SharePoint performance monitoring
  • Improve the customer’s efficiency and effectiveness for both IT systems and business processes.
  • Contribute to a Government provided Knowledge Management portal that provides status of Knowledge Management activities to the Government Knowledge Manager.
  • Employ Knowledge management resources to support internal and external IT service management priorities. 
  • Play a team member role of five in the design and implementation of the Knowledge Management architecture.

Job Requirements

8-10 years of related experience.
