Job Description

 Lead Cognitive Performance Coach: 


Provides subject matter expertise in the areas of Psychology, Performance Psychology, Counseling, or Kinesiology to conduct research across seven functional areas of: Cognitive Enhancement and Accelerated Learning, Instructor Development and Training, Tactical Training, Holistic Human Performance Training, Curriculum Development Technology and Software Development and Research, Program Evaluation and Assessment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Analyzes and identifies needs and provides viable interventions, including training and performance support.
  2. Participates in the development of research procedures.
  3. Gathers data and compiles information into documents related to sport psychology to include mental skills and cognitive enhancement training techniques.
  4. Provides subject matter expertise, applying industry best practices of operational and functional physical fitness from military and professional sports in the development of training and other technology-based learning solutions.
  5. May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced personnel.
  6. Maintains current knowledge of relevant subject matter expertise as assigned.
  7. Participates in special projects as required.

Job Requirements

10 Years of experience in Psychology, Counseling, or Kinesiology with a specialized emphasis in sport and/or performance psychology.

A PhD may be substituted for 5 years of overall experience.  Experience may not be substituted for degree requirements.
