Responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and administering databases, including security, access, and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

Eight years of demonstrated ‘hands-on’ database administration systems managing complex and high volume data processing, data types, compliance and availability requirements.

Five years administering Oracle 11 or 12 databases

 

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent technical discipline

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  1. Demonstrated experience in directly performing all aspects in the lifecycle of database environment administration, which includes the design, architect, deployment, maintenance, backup/recovery and upgrade.
  2. Demonstrated experience in managing database systems in conjunction with datastore systems in high availability, system redundancy environments
  3. Current and practical expertise using Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, SQL*Plus

DESIRED:

  1. Demonstrated and active experience delivering solutions using the current technologies that compromise the database and datastore capabilities for TTD Enterprise listed in the
  2. Demonstrated extensive experience in database architecture, design, and processing models as well as extensive experience with data architecture, modeling, and management in a broad spectrum of data repository environments, such as data warehouse, on-line transaction processing and hybrid.
  3. Experience with administration and configurationNone
    of database solutions for geospatial data/capabilities.
  4. Prior experience supporting database systems for the Sponsor or the IC for CT mission.
  5. Prior experience supporting database systems for data collections unique to the Sponsor or the IC.
  6. Experience delivering or integrating solutions using RDBMS technologies and NoSQL technologies.
  7. Experience transitioning solutions from RDBMS technologies to NoSQL technologies
  8. Experience transitioning into Cloud environment
