Job Description

Join GDIT and be a part of the team of men and women the solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges.

We are looking for a mid-level Software Engineer who is proficient in C# and has a DOD Secret security clearance.  This individual will need to participate in the implementation of a new WinForms application that communicates with SQL Server and with a suite of services via message queues.  A part of a distributed team, the engineer will need to coordinate with the rest of the team to collaboratively problem solve and produce a quality product.  This individual will need to be familiar with development of WinForms applications and SQL Server. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable C# code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications and services
  • Test finished code to ensure quality

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficient in C#
  • Skilled in creating WinForms applications
  • Familiar with SQL Server and stored procedure use
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Experience writing reusable C# libraries
  • Experience writing unit tests
  • Secret clearance
