Principal Systems Administrator

Secret Clearance

Wiesbaden, Germany

Principal Systems Administrator providing operations and maintenance to the Mission Support Environment (MPE) suite.

The systems administrator will ensure  at least 99.8% availability of all MPE Mission Command C4I System Administration services, including authentication, messaging, application, collaboration, data storage, file/print, anti-virus, Windows update, and back-up and recovery services running on servers and equipment. The systems administrator will provide the following:

  1. MPE Mission Command Authentication Services. The systems administrator will provide 99.8% availability of authentication services on MPE Communications networks. C4I authentication services currently include Domain Controller, Active Directory, and Group Policy services.
  2. MPE Mission Command Messaging, Application, and Collaboration Services. The systems administrator will ensure at least a 99.8% availability of messaging, application and collaboration services on Allied-Secret Releasable Communications networks. C4I messaging services on Allied-Secret Releasable Communications networks currently include Exchange and UC services. C4I collaboration services are currently include but are not limited to Portal Collaboration, Desktop Conferencing, Whiteboard, and Video/Audio Presentation services to Unified Capabilities (UC) services.
  3. The systems administrator must possess the knowledge to install additional enhancement features to the collaboration portal (such as advanced web parts), build templates, write stored procedures, perform basic database maintenance, and deploy features.
  4. MPE Mission Command Data Storage Services. The systems administrator will ensure at least a 99.8% availability of data storage services on Allied-Secret Releasable Communications networks. C4I data storage services, which are currently supported on storage area network (SANs) and network-attached storage (NAS) appliances, may migrate to a virtualized computing environment during the life of this contract.

Job Requirements

8-10 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.

  1. Must posses an active Secret clearance.
  2. IAT Level II Certification is required at start.
  3. Posses or attain an industry recognized certification such as MCSE, RHCE, or VCP6-DCV.
