Job Description


GDIT is seeking candidates to support the US Army Regional Cyber Center – Europe.  The USARCC-E’s mission is to operate, manage and defend the European and African portion of the Army’s LandWarNet and to provide Information Technology (IT) services and network operations to the Joint Information Environment (JIE), insuring the availability, integrity and confidentiality of the information and systems used in planning, coordinating, directing, controlling, and sustaining military forces. This contract supports USAREUR, USARAF, USEUCOM, and USAFRICOM missions with robust, reliable and secure information systems support.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

The RCC-E Program Manager:

  • Is responsible for the successful cost, schedule, and performance of the contract
  • Serves as the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer (KO), the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the Government Program Manager, and the Contractor’s senior management
  • Ensures proper performance of tasks necessary to ensure the most efficient and effective execution of the contract
  • Utilizes expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents
  • Is responsible for managing very complex and/or high risk programs. Directs daily staff and task activities to meet client and corporate work objectives. Supervises assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate managers. Serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems. Responsible for coordinating and monitoring subcontractor activities.

Job Requirements


  • Required: DoD 8570.01-M IAM III Security Certification: CISM, CISSP, GSLC
  • Required: PMP Certification
  • Desired: ITIL Foundations

Security Clearance:

  • Secret clearance is required
  • Candidates must have a current and adjudicated SSBI

Desirable Skills / Experience:

  • Effective management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective business development skills including proposal development and preparation
  • Effective communication skills
  • Possess five (5) years demonstrated OCONUS experience
  • Possess five (5) years direct experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity, as well as experience in leading a multi-vendor environment
