We are seeking a Jr. Project Manager to provide technical and management support services to the Department of Justice Installation Program Management and supporting staff. The primary duties for this position will be as follows:

  • Primary duties include the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
  • Participates in developing analysis for projects and support of voice, video, and/or data communications networks.
  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawing, diagrams and documentations.
  • Knowledge of AV or Video teleconferencing equipment and installation practices.
  • May be required to perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.
  • Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
  • Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
  • Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
  • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Job Requirements

Coordinate, schedule, and task team with installation projects from initiation to closing and sign off of all assigned projects.  Will also be responsible for providing administrative guidance on project execution. Identify improvements, document those processes, and connect business people to information technology groups in an organization. Must be open to travel 30 % of the time.
