Job Description

Provides development of project Software Quality Assurance Plan and the implementation of procedures that conforms to the requirements of the contract. Provides an independent assessment of how the project's software development process is being implemented relative to the defined process and recommends methods to optimize the organization's process. May be responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation. Develops and implements procedures and test plans for assuring quality in a system development environment which supports large databases and applications. Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software or web developers. Create and maintain databases of known defects.

May participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, product designs, and schedules. Ensures functional and technical requirements are met through system testing, regression testing, performance testing, system interface testing, and security testing activities.

Job Requirements

Minimum Experience Required:

  1. Five (5) to Eight (8) years’ experience with Systems Engineering disciplines and protocols to include comprehensive knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, micro-virtualization, mobile device management, Amazon Web Services, big data solution development.
  2. Demonstrated Experience with software and system quality assurance, including design, development, and execution of test plans, detection of software failures, analysis and document of test results, system and application functional verifications, problem diagnosis and resolution, chance management, regression testing, configuration management, and release management
  3. Demonstrated Experience with designing and executing test plans and test cases on computer and software applications and systems
  4. Demonstrated Experience with automating test cases
  5. Demonstrated Experience with using defect tracking systems
  6. Demonstrated Experience with testing high performance and large-scale enterprise applications
  7. Demonstrated experience maintaining the Requirements Traceability Verification Matrix (RTVM) with imbedded Testability Matrix that maps test methods and events, test scripts, scenarios, and test results to the applicable requirement, to include test-related artifact changes.

Security Clearance: Secret clearance required at time of hire based upon a SSBI completed within the past five years.
