Job Description

1. Serves as a top level technical or functional expert, often working on multiple projects and programs.
2. Serves as a top level technical or functional expert supporting one or more clients and unlimited user groups. 
3. Performs highly specialized technical tasks associated with cutting-edge technologies. 
4. Works with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. 
5. Applies expert functional knowledge and experience to significant business projects or processes. 
6. May perform business development activities, including providing technical input to proposal efforts. 
7. Provides guidance and training to less experienced staff. 
8. May serve as a technical task or project leader. 
9. May have supervisory responsibilities. 
10. Maintains current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise.
11. Participates in special projects as required.
12. Develops and implements programs to ensure that all products and services meet company standards and customer requirements.
13. Supervises assigned quality assurance staff.
14. Ensures adequate product testing prior to implementation.
15. Administers problem management process including monitoring and reporting on problem resolution.
16. Develops and conducts quality-related training.
17. Works closely with customers, managers and technical staff to assure adherence to quality standards.
Additional Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance. (or adjust to what clearance level is required)
Must meet DoD 8570 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges and must obtain ITIL V3 Foundation within six months of hire.
Depending on job assignment, additional specific certifications may be required.
This position may be required to complete short-term deployments to austere locations worldwide
The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.
