Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software

GDIT – Senior .Net Developer

Job Qualifications and responsibilities:

    1. BA/BS and a minimum of 5 years technical experience.
    2. Senior .Net developer – comfortable architecting, designing, coding, testing, and troubleshooting Windows and web based software solutions in, C#, ASP.NET MVC HTML, JavaScript/JQuery/Angular, Ajax, PL-SQL and Entity Framework.
  • Demonstrated experience developing rich front-end client User Interfaces web pages using MVC with jQuery and jQuery plugins and libraries. Preferred experience with one of the JavaScript frameworks such as Knockoutjs, Angular, React or Backbone. Preferred experience with third party JavaScript control libraries such as Infragistics, Kendo UI, DevExpress, etc.

  1. Experience with .Net Framework 4.5 or higher required, and MVC 4 or higher preferred.
  2. Proficient with Visual Studio suite of tools and Team Foundation Server.
  3. Experience with Infragistics is a plus
  4. Strong SQL and ADO. Net Development Skills
  5. Will support the DMLSS-W Program

Additional Requirements:

Must be a US citizen. Must be able to achieve a NACLC clearance.

Experience with .NET 4.5 or higher, jQuery, Ajax, MVC 4 or higher, ASP.net, C#, Linq, Oracle, SQL Server, Multi-Threading/Task Parallel Library, Entity Framework, Web Services/Web API, HTML and CSS, IIS 7.5 or higher, Windows Server, MVP and MVVM design patterns

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Experience: Minimum 5 years’ directly related experience
