Job Description

Our company is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support continued development activities for the Battlefield Air Operations (BAO) software suite. The goal of the BAO software is to improve the performance of the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Special Tactics (ST), Tactical Air Control Party (TACP), and Personnel Recovery operators during target acquisition and control, combat search and rescue, and personnel recovery operations, reducing potential for errors, enhancing the safety and security of friendly forces, and, ultimately, reducing the risks of fratricide.

The position offers the opportunity to work on-location at the Special Warfare (SW) Technical Integration and Support Center (TISC) alongside users, Subject Matter Experts, engineers of numerous disciplines, and contractors from other organizations to build, test, and deploy full systems in a rapidly evolving environment. The candidate will work with users/SMEs to gain feedback on developed software, engineers to appropriately perform system tests and work through Information Assurance issues/concerns, and generally be a liaison between the TISC and project management and engineering personnel working remotely at the Dayton, OH. The position requires familiarity with AFSOC and Special Warfare; datalinks (Link 16, SADL, VMF) knowledge; and strong communication, interpersonal, and analysis skills.
