Job Description

Provides installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware.

*will staff the Network Control Center to monitor the Theater's Communications grid, determine impact of degradations, and outages within the grid.

*coordinate responses between CYBERCOM, DISA, SC Staff, Component Commands, and Direct Reporting Units with respect to degradations, and outages that affect SC operations.

*coordinate scheduled system outages and act as the Service Desk after normal hours of operation.

*coordinate restoration responsibilities and priorities with all agencies and respond to inquiries on user incidents involving data on archive systems.

*will develop a COMSTAT Report on a daily basis identifying all degradations and outages. The NCC Team works 24/7 365 and is shift work with days , swings, or mids. The Team currently works 4 ten hour shifts and 3 days off.
