Job Description

This position will support the All Weapons Information Systems (AWIS) Program in assembling IA solutions for DOD, NAVAIR and NAWCWD.

Excellent salary plus a compressed schedule with alternate Fridays off!

Duties and responsibilities will include:
  1. Obtain ATO's for the AWIS program.
  2. Maintain a repository for all system-level cybersecurity-related documentation.
  3. Monitor compliance with cybersecurity policy.
  4. Ensure that cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews are synchronized and coordinated with affected parties and organizations.
  5. Act as the primary cybersecurity technical adviser to the AO for the system.
  6. Ensure the secure configuration and approval of IT below the system level (i.e., products and IT services) in accordance with applicable guidance prior to acceptance into or connection to a DoD IS or PIT system.
  7. Ensure that all DoD IS cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
  8. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technical staff members.

  9. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

  10. Participates in special projects as required.

Job Requirements

5-8 years of related experience in data security administration.Candidate must have experience with DoD IA Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and RMF.

Candidate must possess a “Security+” or higher IA certification, a secret Clearance and be eligible to obtain a SSBI clearance and have a work history of successfully working well in a team environment coordinating IA efforts. Must possess a current Comptia Security +(CE) certification (or higher) at the time of hire

Must be able to acquire and maintain a CAC card 

Work location is at the Navy Base in China Lake, CA
