We are seeking an Audio/Visual (A/V) Engineer with a strong background in audio skills and to join our Justice Programs team for the design and support of A/V installations for the Dept. Of Justice in Fairmont, WV. This position will support the overall mission of Video Telecommunications and A/V collaboration within conference rooms and command post scenarios throughout the Dept. of Justice.

The responsibilities of the A/V Engineer include, but are not limited to:

  • Working functional knowledge of the following equipment:
    • Crestron full product suite
      • Crestron audio DSP and Amplifiers
    • BIAMP Audia & Tesira DSP’s
    • Vaddio A/V bridge and PTZ Cameras
    • Clock audio microphones
    • Shure microphones
      • 910 MXA Array
      • Lectern microphones
      • Wireless microphones
    • Proper design, installation, configuration, and support of audio solutions within conference rooms utilizing the following operational tools and streamlines:
      • Microsoft Skype/Teams for VTC
      • BARCO technologies

Job Requirements

The preferred certifications requested to be complimentary to this position are as listed below:

  • Crestron Certified Audio Technician
  • Crestron DM Certified Technician
  • Crestron DM Certified Engineer
  • CTS/CTS-I/CTS-D
  • BIAMP Certifications
  • Sound Engineering
  • Audio Engineering

Minimum/General Experience: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, computer information systems or relevant certificates and 3-5 years of related network experience. Also requires knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network administration and engineering plus knowledge of and ability to use relevant hardware, software and other equipment.  Microsoft and Exchange certifications preferred.
