We are seeking a Sr. Database Analyst to join our Justice Programs team in support of the FBI Insider Threat Center at the J. Edgar Hoover headquarters location on Pennsylvania Ave, NW, Washington, DC.

Primary duties include managing the development of database projects.  Plans and budgets staff and database resources.  When necessary, reallocates resources to maximize benefits.  Prepares and delivers presentations on Database Management Systems (DBMS) concepts.  Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff.

Other areas of expertise include:

  • 4+ years of Oracle database administration experience
  • 3+ years of Linux administration experience
  • Multiple Information Technology certifications
  • Knowledge of Government-wide system design, information technology equipment and services
  • Extensive knowledge of methodology, federal information system policies (e.g. NIST 800.53, FISMA, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), configuration management, and knowledge of the FBI's mission and processes.
