Job Description

Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned projects and tasks.

At this level, the position is typically responsible for managing multiple projects and tasks and supervising employees both exempt and non-exempt and including two or more subordinate supervisors and managers. Technical difficulty/complexity of assigned tasks/projects may also affect level selection.

  1. Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor management.
  2. Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate managers.
  3. Develops technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
  4. Reviews future project requirements and develops strategies for future work.
  5. May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.
  6. Develops processes / procedures governing internal and external communications with the customer
  7. Provides administrative leadership to assigned task(s)
  8. Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
  9. Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
  10. Ensures all required customer communications are met to maintain awareness of project progress, next actions, impact of changes, etc.
  11. Coordinates with all key stakeholders to maintain a current understanding of Project progress, next steps, schedule and risk status
  12. Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other staff on behalf of the PM
  13. Coordinates development and delivery of deliverables and products.
  14. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  15. Participates in special projects as required.
  16. Supports development of Project SharePoint site
  17. Attends customer meetings and serves as primary client liaison.

Job Requirements

10-12 years of related experience, including supervisory experience.


Is knowledgeable in life cycle support, including maintenance, administration and management.
Clear and concise written and verbal communications
Creates, drafts, and views program documentation, generates formal review documentation, and participates in system and program reviews.
Participates in formal and informal reviews to determine quality.
Must be able to track project studies, plans, action items, etc.
Ensures coordination and information flow between programs within the organization.
Security+CE preferred but not required.
Current Secret Security Clearance; Top Secret preferred
