In this role you will support key bids across our Business Areas. You will report to a Growth Recruiting Manager and work with a team of Growth Recruiters to support all pre-award efforts as well as Incumbent Captures. As a key player you’ll collaborate with Growth leaders and HR Business Partners to serve as a consultant and trusted advisor to the business and work closely with these teams to support all goals, objectives and responsibilities of the business line. GDIT is growing and in this role you will have the opportunity to directly impact the Business with a strong reputation for hiring top talent and exceptional client delivery on our projects.

As a GDIT Growth Recruiter, you must ensure we are up to date on procurements and the growth pipeline by partnering on a consistent basis with the Growth and Capture teams.

This recruiter can work from remote location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Support Business Leaders and Growth Teams across the company on previously prioritized proposal recruiting efforts.
  2. Attends regular proposal meetings and actively contribute to proposal development by keeping the team up to date on the recruiting support and provide details on potential challenges in our efforts.
  3. Maintain up to date knowledge of business plans and the impact on proposal recruiting needs, including timing of awards, program structure, and staffing needs and share these plans routinely with the Proposal Recruiting Manager.
  4. Follow a consistent approach and concept of operations for incumbent captures, including interacting with candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, etc.
  5. Follow recruitment strategies for all proposal efforts and incumbent captures to ensure consistency company-wide.
  6. Supports the execution of incumbent capture strategies.
  7. Provides weekly updates on proposal recruiting activity.
  8. Full Life Cycle recruiting for key positions on various proposals.
  9. Issue Letters of Commitment (LOC) or Letters of Intent (LOI) when necessary

Job Requirements

  • Strong business acumen and organizational skills.
  • Is able to work under pressure in a time-critical environment.
  • Willingness to adapt to rapidly-changing requirements.
  • Demonstrable creative sourcing techniques
  • Ability to think outside the ordinary Recruiter box and mind-set
  • A general awareness of government contracting from a Proposal perspective, and various Federal Government contract vehicles would be helpful.
