Job Description

***This is a temporary position.

Supply and Services Management tasks in support of DMC/Supply and Services:

1. Serve as subject matter expert in logistics operations and contingency planning.

2. Review and assist in developing plans, documents and directives, focusing on logistics support.

3. Review and coordinate with CENTCOM, ARCENT, DLA, AMC, and/or other organizations on logistics operations.

4. Assist in the development of logistical doctrine, Tactics and Procedures (TTPs); and attending training meetings.

5. Provide support on deliberate planning and crisis planning efforts, as well as represent the Supply Branch OIC in the DMC MDMP process.

6. Deploy in support of the OEF to areas in the 1st TSC AOR, preparing after action reports (AARs), detailed Customer Wait Time (CWT) and
Requisition Wait Time (RWT) metrics for intra-theater referrals. These reports may be submitted as doctrinal changes to US Army CASCOM.

7. Analyze data and provide input into the daily Executive Summary. The data referenced for the Daily Executive Summary is:
• Class VII Retrograde Surface Movements; source: 595th TTG COC, CDDOC, and 402nd AFSB-South Daily Slide Packet
• High Priority BL/BD Retrograde; source: 402nd South Daily Slide Packet
• M-ATV OEF Distribution; source: ARCENT G-4 Mobility M-ATV Tracker
• Force Packages; source: A-TCOP
• FRAGO Status; source: USARCENT

8. Conduct logistics research using the following websites: AEPs, WEBVLIPS, LIW, DA ILAP, FEDLOG, SARSS-O, GTN, RFITV, and USAPA to
perform trend analysis and present information in a power point presentation.

9. Design and execute queries for internal and external customer data needs and develop trend analysis that enhance Integrated Distribution Lanes
to improve RWT and minimize double handling of materiel in theater.

10. Work will be performed IAW AR 710-2 (Supply Policy Below National Level), DA PAM 710-2-1 (Unit Supply System), AR 735-5 (Property
Policies and Procedures Accountability), AR 220-1 (Unit Status Reporting) and SARSS End Users Manual.


Bachelors Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience.


2-5 years of related experience in logistics, traffic and/or supply chain management.

Minimum 6 years' experience with supply or maintenance management at Operational (Theater) level.

Detailed understanding of Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) and the Army Supply System, especially AR 735-5, AR 710-2, and DA Pam 710-2-1.

Ability to interact with military personnel, DOD personnel and other contracted workers to work on different task to assist in mission support.

Proficiency with Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Supply & Service Officer

Employee will work 60 hours per week.

Maintain a DOD Secret Clearance. Must have current/active passport.
May be required to perform duties throughout the CENTCOM AOR.
