Job Description

GDIT is currently looking for a Supply Technician to support the Naval Medical Research Unit (NAMRU) at Ft. Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. NAMRU is a major research center conducting medical, craniofacial, directed energy, and biomedical research which focuses on ways to enhance the health, safety, performance, and operational readiness of Navy and Marine Corps personnel and addresses their emergent medical and oral/facial problems in routine and combat operations.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of the Navy’s DMLLS. The work at this level requires knowledge of DoD supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions. This knowledge is used to conduct extensive and exhaustive searches for required information; services shall not include inherently Governmental functions.
  • Responsiblities include unloading/receiving supply deliveries, reviewing purchasing documentation, providing documentation for upload to DMLLS, assembly and installation of new equipment and removal of old equipment, assisting with inventory.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel Software programs.
  • Must display careful attention to detail.

Job Requirements

5-8 years of related inventory management experience.

At least three (3) years’ experience in the ordering, receipt, and management of equipment and supplies, preferably within the DoD
