Job Description

Designs and develops tests and test requirements for products, systems, software and/or related components and equipment.

  • Ensure that software under test implements the functionality specified in all approved requirements and that it performs as expected from the customer's perspective.
  • Troubleshoots problems and documents findings of tests.
  • Defines testing processes and strategies and ensures tests adhere to established standards.
  • Assess system and software level requirement specifications, software design, interface design, and development related documentation as needed.
  • May participate in test plan development.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Interface with customers, management, and development teams as necessary.
  • Assist higher level leads and management in the enhancement of testing policies processes, products and tools. Assist with implementation of the enhancements, including documentation, instruction and training of others.
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Works with Program/Software Project Teams to meet project deadlines and financial objectives and communicates issues impacting established deadlines
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Job Requirements

  • 2-5 years of related experience in testing, engineering or quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing concepts and formal verification and validation strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience with automated testing tools  
  • Demonstrated experience with automation testing for websites and mobile apps a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with web and mobile app testing a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with agile development process a plus.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills are required.
  • Demonstrated customer service, leadership, and team interaction skills are required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to on-time delivery and be able to report the status of tasks/assigned.
