Job Description

Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.

  1. Perform the installation, integration, configuration, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, security implementation, and configuration management of software on Windows-based servers.
  2. Manage the functionality and efficiency of multiple Windows-based servers.
  3. Administer policies and standards related to security and technical implementation guidance.
  4. Coordinate with customers to perform software security testing and scans.
  5. Maintain system documentation.
  6. Interact with users to assist with problem-solving.
  7. Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  8. May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced systems engineers.
  9. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  10. Participates in special projects as assigned.

BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

  1. 5-8 years of related systems engineering experience.
  2. 5 years of experience in Windows system administration and analysis to include logging onto servers and completing administrative tasks.
  3. CompTIA Security+ CE certification is required OR a BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or CyberSecurity
  4. Active TS/SSBI clearance desired or active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SSBI.
