GDIT is seeking Task Order Managers to join an opportunity for an FAA National Airspace System (NAS) program and integration  of new systems into FAA facilities.   Administers task orders issued by FAA customers.  Responsible for ensuring work requested under task order is tracked and performed to schedule, budget and customer satisfaction.  There are multiple Task Order (TO) managers positions planned for a program to support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) in regions and locations across the US.   These leadership positions will include preparing task order proposals, specifications, budget estimates, and manage multi-discplinary teams that can include various including Program analysts, Schedulers, Engineers, Computer Programmers and subject matter specialists.  The TO Managers will provide technical, program financial and schedule information to customers on regular basis and provide FAA with GDIT management timely status and reports. Having an understanding and committment to the critical mission of the FAA and flexiblity in addressing customer needs and requirements is important to success in this position.  


Bachelor's degree and experience that includes 7 years of general engineering management OR prior relevant experience, or Masters with 5 years of prior relevant experience.


Possess at least 3 years managing complex sytems and at least 25 personnel  Project activities include planning, integrating and implementation of complex systems and equipment.  Ability to manage functional activities distributed nationwide.  Possess communication skills that include interact effectively with different layers of customer manager, and technical personnel.  Experience managing subsordinate personnel.

Desired Qualifications, not required:
FAA project management experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Any Specialize skills (e.g., Safety Professional, First Safety, Hazardous Materials, UAS Operations)
